Bootcamp

How long is the Bootcamp? What is the time commitment from my side?

The Bootcamps include around 500 hours of learning spread over 6 months. We expect you to put in around 15 hours of work on the weekends throughout the duration of the Bootcamp. The time commitment will be towards live-classes, team tasks, assignments, quizzes, and project work.

What projects will I be working on?

You will work on around 4 projects across the core domains in the bootcamp. Projects are kept updated in line with industry trends; so expect variety.

Who are the instructors for this Bootcamp?

All of our instructors are industry veterans with extensive core experience in their respective fields. Our instructors also come with a passion to teach and enjoy interacting with students.

What can I expect at the end of the Bootcamp?

The outcome of the Bootcamp is a job in Data Science or Full Stack Development. Using multiple projects, we will train you in the essential tools and technologies needed to get a job in premium organizations.

How are classes going to be conducted?

All classes are conducted online over the internet using video conferencing solutions like Zoom or Webex. You will require access to the internet (2 Mbps+ recommended) on a computer (preferred) or on a mobile device to attend. Class size may vary depending on the specific cohort. However, we have teaching assistants available to interact in small groups and also conduct one-on-one sessions.

What if I get stuck? What kind of support is available?

You can reach out to us via our discussion forums anytime you get stuck. Plus you can clarify doubts right within your lectures from the instructors. Your learning will be over our online learning management system available to you anytime, anywhere.

How does mentorship work?

As part of the OdinSchool mentorship program, practicing industry professionals are brought into the bootcamp to interact with students and provide industry insight. Mentors interact with students in groups and in one-to-one sessions providing guidance. Our mentors are very knowledgeable in their subjects and have a passion for helping students.

Application and Admission

How can I apply to the Bootcamps?

After deciding which bootcamp you want to be a part of, you can apply by clicking on the “Apply Now” button on the respective bootcamp page, fill the short application form and submit. Our counselling team will review your application and get in touch with you to explain the further process. Once you have complete clarity about the bootcamp and its outcomes, you can pay the tuition fee and start the bootcamp.

What are the selection criteria?

You will be selected based on application and your interaction with our Counselling Team.

Do I need to submit any documents while enrolling?

You do not need to submit any documents to enroll into the bootcamp. However, you might have to submit some documents such as your experience certificate, graduation certification etc., during the placement process, after the completion of the bootcamp.

What are the academic requirements for joining the Bootcamp?

You should have completed your graduation, preferably with a background in mathematics or technology. Additionally, you can check the eligibility criteria on individual bootcamp pages.

Do I need to pay anything to start my application?

No. You only need to pay the Tuition Fee only at the time of Admission.

Payments

What payment options are available for me?

For Data Science and Full Stack Java Developer Bootcamps, you can either pay the tuition fee in one go or work with our authorized credit partners to avail flexible EMI facility. You can also avail scholarships for the bootcamp tuition fee based on your performance in the Scholarship Test.

What payment modes do you support?

We support cheques (subject to realization), IMPS, NEFT, Credit, and Debit card payments.

Placements

Do you guarantee placements?

No, OdinSchool does not guarantee placements. Our many tie-ups with hiring partners enable us to arrange interviews for you. We will train you, help you prepare your resume and professional profiles, and coach you to perform well in interviews. But ultimately, getting the placement is in your hands and your performance in the recruiting company’s interview process.

How does the placement process work?

When our industry partners send us their hiring requirements, we match them with the profiles of the students enrolled in our bootcamps. The profiles that best suit the requirements are sent to the partner and further selection schedules are planned. As part of the bootcamp, we offer Career Services that include placement preparation workshops, industry mentorships, and interview preparation. Our Career Office will work closely with you in the process of preparing you for your career transition. We work with our recruiting partners to arrange interviews for you where you will need to perform and get selected. We will also prepare you to search for opportunities on your own.

How long does the placement process take?

We start offering Career Services towards the end of the bootcamp. We continue to assist you with placements up to 6 months after the completion of the bootcamp.
